Gun engraver

Award-winning specialist gun engraver. Worked for Holland and Holland and now runs his own engraving studio, Emeraldic Designs. Barry works predominantly on shotguns (scroll, acanthus leaf and carving). He also takes commissions in jewellery and silverware, as well as engraving on everyday objects.

Barry was taught by Wayne Parrott at London Guildhall University, (Sir John Cass School of Art and Design) while studying jewellery, silversmithing and hand engraving. His has won top awards from the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, the British Jewellers Association and JJ Bergin, London. He has work on permanent display in North America, as well as exhibiting in Russia and Abu Dhabi.
