Engraver

Colin has over 55 years experience in the engraving trade. He was apprenticed at Guill & Stephenson in Hatton Garden from 1965-1970 before branching out on his own. First of all he worked in workshops in Hatton Garden before going to work above the luxury jewellers and silversmiths, Theo Fennell, in South Kensington.

Colin has engraved many well known sports trophies including the F.A. Cup, US Open Golf Cup, Ryder and Walker Cups and the Derby Trophy. He engraved the Web Ellis Rugby World Cup live on TV in Paris at the World Cup Final in 2007.

Colin has engraved many pieces for the Royal Family and stars of stage and screen. Working to private commissions and trade commissions, doing all types of engraving, including seals and heraldry and working on gold and silver.

Colin is proud to be a founding member of the Hand Engravers Association.
